Hi, my name is Tone.


I have studied knitting as a craft for over 20 years, and I bring a long résumé as a knitwear designer, speaker, teacher, yarn dyer, and tech editor. In Designbonanza, I share all my knowledge about knitwear design and the craft of knitting.

I don’t believe in shortcuts when it comes to craftsmanship – but I do believe in smart paths. In the Designbonanza Live Club, you get to see how I think, test, fail, adjust, and arrive at solutions that actually work in real life, not just look good on paper. My goal is that you walk away with knowledge that makes you feel freer as a knitter and designer – confident enough to make your own choices, without feeling more confused along the way.

  • A new pattern with videos and background story will be released around the 10th of each month (the first one comes on March 10th). Each pattern will be available throughout the month, then replaced by the next one. At the beginning of March 2027, everyone who has paid for 12 months or an annual subscription will receive an e-book containing all 12 patterns, with QR codes linking to the videos and stories.
